History of Watercress Production
Watercress has been grown on our farms since the 1850's. Here we have included some historical photographs, with a brief explanation of what is happening in each.
The eleven photographs cover the period from the 1900’s onwards to the 1960’s.
The photographs and commentary have kindly been supplied by Mr Bill Jesty, the father of our Watercress Production Manager, Tim Jesty (pictured).
